Forrest A. Eaton, Jr., CPA

Forrest (Al) Eaton is a graduate of Suffolk University with over 30 years of public accounting experience. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He is a former (and founding) partner of Sanders, Walsh & Eaton, LLP and served that firm for nearly twenty five years. During his career, Al has served individuals and a broad range of commercial and not-for-profit clients. Currently, he specializes in tax preparation, planning and consulting for the clergy. 

For many years, Al has led seminars on clergy taxes and conducted workshops for church treasurers. He is a consulting resource for churches and clergy in the areas of compensation and tax planning, financial reporting, asset management, and planned giving. He successfully completed the University of Cambridge Program in Risk Management for Churches and Schools and was awarded the Cambridge Certificate in Risk Management.

Al has served as fiduciary for numerous trusts and estates and has served as a volunteer officer with several local civic and charitable organizations, including Cape Cod Child Development Program, Inc., and Cape Cod Council of Churches. In his own church, in addition to serving as church treasurer for 17 years, he has held leadership positions on the Church Council, Deacons, Board of Trustees, Ministerial Search Committees, Pastor Parish Relations Committee, Investment and Finance Committee, and Christian Education Committee. He is a past president of the Harwich-Dennis Rotary Club, Assistant District Governor (Rotary District 7950), was a member of numerous Rotary District committees, and is a Paul Harris Fellow.
